When there's a drill, there's a way!!

Urge...I can't stand my kitchen utensils all being piled on top of my counter, in one container. Cluttered  is not the look I'm going for!! I want my kitchen counters to be simple with a touch of style.. I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen, well... a light remodeling that will make a world of difference.. Painting and organizing!!! Organizing comes first. Yesterday I put this little project together. It's so simple.. Just some wood, paint, mason jars, a few screws, and a drill!! Bam!! We've got a cute homemade organizer.

Summa' Summa' Summa' Time

                          Summer Time Is Here and So Are New Candle Scent!!!

I added five brand new scents and they all smell so refreshing.. Beachy Clean smells just like clothes drying out in the sun, so refreshing with a kick of the beach. All Things Southern, well that's easy, daffodils and lilacs outside my front door, YUMMY!! If you like fresh laundry, you'll love Downy Ball, it smells just like fresh linen and perfect for the summer!! Citrus Cilantro is one of my new favorites, a hint of cilantro with such a clean citrus enlightenment.. I brought back Natures Driftwood, I know, it sounds questionable, but it's not!! I have Driftwood all through my house cause I LOVE IT!!! It's such a light but rewarding scent and Ive never smelt anything like it.. it reminds me of a cool afternoon on the river with a hint of sweetness..The last new scent, Caribbean Breeze! YUM YUM.. This one smells the most like SUMMER TIME, Coconuts a lime and GOOD OLE TIME!! And for those folks that are not into SUMMER smells, I left Fresh Coffee and Cookies N Cream...Both with a down-home feel! ! Knock Knock

Last minute Mother's Day gifts can run the brain crazy! Well, don't stress out so much and let me do the thinking for you. I am now making door knob signs with any custom stamping. For my grandmother I made two rustic signs with all her grandchildren and great grandchildrens names. For my mother-in-law, I made one with her grandchildren. Dont have grandchildren yet? That's okay, kids names will work or maybe just a favorite quote. Something along the lines of, " You are my sunshine" "Bless those who enter" or maybe just good ole' "NUMBER ONE MOM." Mothers Day is just in three days, but I still have time to make them.. A late gift is better than no gift at all!!!

Keep It Green

Ive been on an earth friendly binge lately, and I have really enjoyed every minute! I'm in the process of painting my new recycling trash cans and want the world to know, "THIS HOUSE RECYCLES FOLKS!" I think it's important we should help keep our planet green, even if its just a small contribution.!  My sweet husband has replaced his plastic water bottles with reusable Nalgene  containers for his clients on the river..(His contribution to the cause) I have also come across recycled glass containers and BOY ARE THEY CUTE!!!! Ive got all different kinds and colors, and I am super EXCITED!  There's nothing better than having an eco-friendly soy wax candle in recycled glass just hangin' around the house....So, how do you plan to contribute top our lovely planet earth?? Organic soy wax candles and recycled glass is a good start, if you ask me!

Custom Tags

Dont forget to give thanks to those fellow employees or celebrate with a little personality at a special occasion!!  I'd say it's always better when a gift is completely personalized with your own touch. I am now making custom candle labels for weddings, thanks you's, birthday's, get well's, or for that special person we seem to always be thinking about. Ive put a few in hair salons with their own personalized scent, great for clients, I'd have to say! Dont make your gifts boring this year when they can be uber cute...

Since I've gotten into making my own stamps, I'm always looking for new items to leave my design on.. Then it came to mind... lets make wrapping presents a little more exciting. I started out with some simple hand-stamped whale gift tags, and I just couldn't stop making more.. There's everything from hand-stamped stationary to porcelain coasters.. You name it, I'll stamp it.
